This week, Luxury Group by Marriott International announced its partnership with Blade Air Mobility, Inc. (Blade) to improve the traveling experience of its Manhattan guests.
Blade is a premier flight chartering service in New York City, Vancouver, Victoria, Canada, Nice, and Monaco. You can book a seat on scheduled flights or privately charter a helicopter, jet, or seaplane to any destination.
Available until September of this year, select guests staying two nights or more at hotels such as The Ritz-Carlton, Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts will be able to take advantage of complimentary roundtrip airport transfers on one of Blade’s helicopters to and from JFK and Newark. A one-way helicopter trip from Manhattan to JFK Airport can start around $195 per seat, while private charters can run into thousands of dollars.
This luxury service ensures that guests can relax and enjoy the journey. They land in Manhattan at either Blade Lounge East on East 34th Street or Blade Lounge West on West 30th Street, where a chauffeur will be ready to take them to their final destination.
This collaboration between Luxury Group and Blade promises to mitigate the hassle of traveling in and out of NYC by literally flying over the traffic-saturated pain points. “This service sets the Luxury Group apart by ensuring every aspect of their guests’ travel experience is smooth, swift, and enjoyable,” says Roisin Branch, the chief marketing officer of Blade.
