Last week, Worth Magazine, along with event partner, Denison Yachting, celebrated the Palm Beach International Boat Show in Palm Beach Style. The VIP reception was hosted aboard Denison Yachting’s magnificent North Coast 120-foot yacht. Describing the event, Greg Licciardi, Worth’s Vice President of Partnerships, explained:

“Our event embodied Worth’s core DNA of celebrating the luxury lifestyle through special experiences that are priceless and extend far beyond our audience’s wealth.”

The Palm Beach show, with over 800 boats on display valued at over $1B and some 55,000+ attendees, is one of Florida’s top three boat shows and ranks among the nation’s top ten shows. And funnily enough, the show is held at the city’s Lake Worth Lagoon

The Worth Palm Beach reception, limited to just 50 VIP guests, included live music, specially prepared canapes, and a full array of beverages including the Dark ‘n Stormy, and a drink with a strong connection to seafaring that was invented in Bermuda—one of the Worth event’s sponsors.

Joining the Bermuda Tourism Authority as sponsors of the event were Wilmington Trust and Lisa Nik, who introduced her one-of-a-kind fine jewelry collection to attendees, which she said, “Demonstrates how our gemstone and diamond sets are perfect to take on a vacation at sea.” In addition, Swiss luxury watch and clock maker Jaeger-LeCoultre was an event participant.

Speaking to the reception’s guests, Bob Denison, president of Denison Yachting, summed up the event with this toast:

“Here’s to the big ships and the small ships and the sailing ships and the power ships but the best ships of all, are friendships.”
