Diversity of views and eminent expertise is what characterizes Techonomy’s speakers. Here the opening panel at our May NYC conference: from left, moderator David Kirkpatrick, The Financial Times’s North America Editor Gillian Tett, President Fred Krupp of the Environmental Defense Fund, and robotics pioneer and AI expert Rodney Brooks of Rethink Robotics.

This is part two in the series highlighting Techonomy 2017 speakers. You can view part one here.

As we put the final touches on the program for Techonomy 2017 (November 5-7) at the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay, we get excited by its depth and breadth. That extends past the stars, who we take beyond their usual comfort zone to get a deeper understanding of how tech is changing everything, including John Chambers of Cisco, Lowell McAdam of Verizon, or Campbell’s CEO Denise Morrison.

In this moment of flux, uncertainty, fear, and relentless change, here are a few others who will help you reach some new epiphanies. The diversity of our speakers is one of Techonomy’s strengths.

Here are a few speakers you will learn from:

Xiaoning Qi is CEO of C-SKY Microsystems Corp., one of China’s most important semiconductor-makers, based in Hangzhou, at a time when that country’s ambitions in chips are paramount.

Melissa Cefkin, a Principal Scientist at Nissan Research, is an anthropologist with a long career at the intersection of social research, business and technology.

Rohit Prasad is head scientist in Amazon’s Alexa group, leading R&D in speech recognition, natural language understanding, and machine learning. He will join our discussions about the many ways AI and voice interfaces are changing tech.

Tim Hwang is Founder and CEO of FiscalNote, which uses AI and natural language processing to help organizations manage relationships with governments. It’s the largest private company in legal analytics and regulatory technology.

Sasan Goodarzi is Executive Vice President & GM of Intuit’s Small Business Group, which includes QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Payroll, Payments and the Intuit Partner Platform.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. We are tremendously proud of our full agenda. You won’t find any other conference with an agenda like this. People try to compare Techonomy to Re:Code, Fortune Brainstorm Tech, WSJD, and other great events. We’re pleased to be in their league, but our approach is not to create a tech-industry gathering or to focus just on the topics of tech. We are trying to understand the zeitgeist, as tech inflects it. So leaders can take home a deeper level of understanding.

In the end, it’s you we need to make the conference sing, because our interactive format lends itself so much to room-wide discussion. No broadcasts or endless droning keynotes at Techonomy. We are all in this together, helping one another navigate.

Our superb community of thinkers and leaders gathers at this event once a year. Take a look at this list of who’s coming. Again, there is no other event like it.
