Once a Google employee (Googler, Googalian, Goog? Never mind), Tristan Harris, left that behemoth corporation to cofound the Center for Humane Technology, which is basically about making tech work better for all of us. Harris and the CHT work to make sure that as technology bounds forwards so quickly, its use will be governed by common sense and ethics, and, yes, AI, we’re talking about you. He’s also advocated against screen time abuse and all kinds of technology addiction.
