Ed Mitzen co-founded the Business for Good Foundation (BFGF) with his wife Lisa in 2022, with a vision to approach philanthropy differently. BFGF is focused on a mission-driven, action-oriented agenda – taking on some of the country’s toughest challenges.
Based in New York’s Capital Region, Mitzen and BFGF are set to expand nationally in the year ahead and take their approach to communities across the United States. BFGF’s goal is to work with community leaders, local entrepreneurs, and major policymakers in tackling housing affordability, workforce development, and economic mobility for all, not just a few.
