Adam Nash is the former CEO of Wealthfront. But in 2020, he co-founded a new venture that he calls Daffy. That’s an acronym standing for Donor-Advised Fund for You. It’s a fintech platform that simplifies charitable giving. Its roots are in DAF funds, mainly used by the not-me ultra-wealthy. But Daffy lets anyone use this kind of fund for just $3/month. You can set aside money for charity and watch it increase tax-free with a choice of over 1.5 million charities to which you can donate. Though I’m strangely not one of the approved charitable causes, Nash’s vision has had a Worthy 100-style impact on popularizing philanthropic giving.
