In 2021, rapper Megan Thee Stallion and model/activist Leyna Bloom made media and cultural history by debuting on the coveted cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition. Stallion is the first rap star to grace the renowned magazine cover, and Bloom made headlines as the first transgender model to be on the cover of the iconic SI publication. Both were thrilled to be part of the issue and were pleased to help advance social change.
