Tom Bedecarré is an innovator and pioneer in advertising and communications, and he currently serves as co-founder and chairman of AKQA, the leading digital agency, and president of WPP Ventures, the Silicon Valley-based company that explores digital investment opportunities for WPP, the world’s largest communications services group. Working at the intersection of technology and advertising, Tom was named “Silicon Valley’s Favorite Adman” by Fortune Magazine, which described Tom as a “rare hybrid” who “has cred with techies and Mad Men alike.” In 2013, Tom was recognized as the Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year” for his leadership and innovation in the media and marketing services industry. Tom holds a B.A. degree from Stanford University where he studied political science and economics and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University where he studied marketing and management policy.
