Nikita Gnedin was born and raised in the Russia where he studied microbiology before moving to the Czech Republic to study business and computer science. Once he moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, he co-founded the startup Hyperkey, which focuses on how people express themselves via chat.
Gnedin has been in the startup space for years, already founding numerous companies in the areas of messaging, digital news, and mobile apps and holding numerous patents in the mobile messaging space. He believes that we are at the precipice of the golden era of technologies with near-limitless opportunities and a minimum barrier to entry for many inventions.
Though mostly focused on his startup activities, Gnedin produces electronic music and plays at a DJ in area night clubs.
