Lorraine Bolsinger

Vice President, Leadership Acceleration Program (XLP), General Electric

Lorraine A. Bolsinger was named Vice President, GE Corporate Leadership Acceleration Program in January 2016. She is responsible for the design and delivery of the corporate-wide program to develop executive leadership for the company. Prior to this role, she was President and CEO of GE Power’s Distributed Power business, a leading provider of power equipment and services, with over 5,000 people worldwide.

Lorraine joined GE in 1981 on an early career development program in marketing and sales of energy products. She held progressively larger roles in product management, sales and marketing across GE Power, Aerospace, and Aviation, serving such diverse industries and technologies as space & defense, power generation, oil and gas, marine, and aviation for both military and civil markets. In 1999, she was appointed a company officer in the position of Vice President, GE Aviation Services Product Management. She proceeded to the position of Vice President, Aviation Sales, and in 2003 was named Chief Marketing Officer for Aviation. In 2005 she launched GE’s growth and environmental initiative, ecomagination™, growing revenues to $17B and reducing greenhouse gases by 13 percent in three years. In 2008, she became President & CEO of GE Aviation Systems, a provider of electrical power, avionics, actuation and other systems to aircraft manufacturers and operators. She is a member of GE’s Corporate Executive Council.

Lorraine earned a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. She is married to Brien and has two children, Kimberly and Christopher.
