Joe Lenehan is a Managing Director in the Advisory Group at PJT Partners, based in New York.
Mr. Lenehan joined PJT Partners in 2017 after having spent ten years with Goldman, Sachs & Co. in their Technology, Media and Telecom group within the investment banking division. Mr. Lenehan has worked on a broad range of public and private M&A transactions, initial public offerings, private placements and other capital markets transactions for clients across several TMT sub-industries, including live sports & entertainment.
Mr. Lenehan has worked on a variety of strategic assignments on behalf of sports leagues, teams and partners, including the sale of the Atlanta Hawks, a stake sale of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the acquisition of the San Diego Padres, and the sale of BAMTech.
Mr. Lenehan was previously an investment grade bond trader and assistant portfolio manager at Bear Stearns and TimesSquare Capital Management.
Mr. Lenehan earned a BS in Finance from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
