Health 16

Nov 8, 2016 PT

Our first Techonomy Health roundtable is a multidisciplinary dialogue exploring what healthcare can become in a technologized and hyper-connected age. We’ll discuss the impact that the cloud, artificial intelligence and analytics, the Internet of Things and the “quantified self” movement will have on building a more efficient healthcare system as it increasingly extends beyond the walls of our doctors’ offices and hospitals into all of our lives.

As new technologies for both healthcare professionals and ordinary people lead to a patient-centric and connected healthcare ecosystem, we can achieve a holistic view of an individual’s health even as we lower costs and enable people to live longer, happier lives. The entire healthcare system can become more efficient in ways that are desperately needed.

Join some of tech and healthcare’s deepest thinkers and most influential leaders in an intimate group setting to discuss and debate together the amazing prospects of a more integrated landscape.

What do healthcare systems and providers need to know now? How will we manage the data explosion? What’s the state of a move towards value-based healthcare? What are the security and privacy risks? Where may patient resistance emerge? How can the many players in American healthcare better cooperate? What new incentives do we need?

These are just some of the questions we’ll address as we examine new technologies, new attitudes, and new opportunities for a healthier America, the day after the epochal presidential election.
