Bill Morris graduated from the University of Vermont with a BS in political science and economics in 1974. Bill started his insurance career with Allstate Insurance Company from 1974 through 1984, holding, management positions in operations, claims, and sales management. He was then recruited by Crum & Forster to become the territorial manager for its New England states and was later promoted to Northeast regional sales manager in Parsippany, New Jersey. Prior to moving to H.D. Segur, Inc. (HDS), his final position with Crum & Forster was as director of agency consulting operations. Bill joined HDS as a vice president in 1989 and became a partner with the agency in 1994. He has developed and built the personal lines sales and service organization at the agency.
