Aamer Baig is a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company where he leads the Public Sector Operations & Technology practice. For the past 20 years, Aamer has helped financial institutions, high-tech, industrial and public sector organizations use technology to improve performance and to drive innovation. Since joining McKinsey in 2009, he has pursued his passion of improving government by bringing private sector best practices to federal, state, and local governments. He also oversees McKinsey’s “Value Assurance” practice, which focuses on helping clients capture full business value from large technology investments and projects. In addition to his client work, Aamer contributes research and thought leadership on government innovation through the McKinsey Center for Government. Most recently, he co-led MCG’s proprietary research on Citizen Experience, which surveyed 17,000 citizens across 15 states aimed at measuring and transforming citizen experience and satisfaction with government services.
