Tim Brenneman is executive director and business leader of the personal insurance practice of Cook Maran & Associates Inc. He is a member of the company’s executive committee and board of directors. Mr. Brenneman is responsible for the agency’s 10,000 personal insurance clients and directs a sales and service staff of 36, including the unit’s private client services practice. He graduated from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pa., in 1980 with a BS in business administration. He started with Allstate in 1981 and held a variety of management positons in operations, claims, personnel and sales for both Allstate and Crum & Forster prior to joining the Edward F. Cook Agency in East Hampton in 1989. Locally, Mr. Brenneman serves as chairman of the East Hampton Community Preservation Fund (CPF) Advisory Board, evaluating and prioritizing acquisition opportunities for the town board. He and his wife Debbie have lived in East Hampton for the past 25 years.
