Sheel Tyle is an investor at New Enterprise Associates, where he focuses on consumer technology and emerging market investments. He joined NEA at the age of 20, making him the youngest investment professional since the firm was founded. He co-manages NEA’s investments in Qbotix, FiscalNote, CrowdMed, LearnUp, 42Floors, and others.

Previously, Sheel was at Bessemer Venture Partners and was actively involved in investments in the U.S. and Asia. Sheel is the co-founder of ReSight, a vision care nonprofit, and the co-founder and managing partner of S2 Capital, a seed-stage social fund that invests in young entrepreneurs that advance gender equity, improve health care delivery, and amplify economic growth in low-resource countries. He has led investments in Ghana, India, Kenya, and Uganda for S2.

Sheel was recently appointed to the board of directors for the Business Center for New Americans, a New York City-based non-profit that creates a pathway to self-sufficiency for immigrants, refugees, women, and others by providing access to capital and specialized training. He is a graduate of Stanford. Sheel was the youngest member of the 2012-2013 Forbes 30 under 30 for finance and was a speaker at Techonomy in 2012.
