| Sharawn Connors is the diversity and inclusion vice president at Micron Technology. She leads a diversity and inclusion function within Human Resources that touches all aspects of the business, particularly attracting and supporting a highly diverse and talented workforce around the globe.
Connors’ professional experience spans human resources, information technology, project management, and operations. She previously led the global D&I efforts at Flex (formerly Flextronics), including initiatives to improve pay equity across its global workforce, establish a D&I center of excellence and create the company’s first employee resource groups. Connors joined Flex in 2013 as director of U.S. [contact-form][contact-field label=”Name” type=”name” required=”true” /][contact-field label=”Email” type=”email” required=”true” /][contact-field label=”Website” type=”url” /][contact-field label=”Message” type=”textarea” /][/contact-form] Compensation and Benefits and, in 2015, was promoted to vice president of Global Benefits. Connors holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the California State University and a master’s degree in human resource management from the Golden Gate University, San Francisco. She also has a Senior Professional Human Resources Certification (SPHR) from the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute. Passionate about education and coaching, Connors is currently an adjunct professor at San Jose State University and a mentor to first-generation and underrepresented college students. |
