After her last company exit, she became a partner to Sequoia Capital’s Scout Fund in 2022, renowned for early investments in companies such as Uber, Stripe, Guardant Health, and others. Selene has invested in over 30 frontier technology companies at the early stage, including as an angel investor in Serve Robotics (Nasdaq: SBOT), Impulse Space, Replit, and Perplexity. She has also supported innovation initiatives as an advisor to Chanel and Intel.
Today, she is the Managing Partner and Chief Venture Officer at Fuel Venture Capital, a $550M firm dedicated to backing visionary founders and broadening access to innovation for private investors. With a bi-coastal presence in San Francisco and Miami, the firm has been an early investor in many of today’s market-leading technology companies, including Replit, CookUnity, RecargaPay, Lunar, and Betr.
