Sebastian DiGrande is the Chief Executive Officer of PCX (Plastic Credit Exchange). In his role, Sebastian leads a passionate and dedicated team with the mission to end plastic waste entering the environment by leveraging a technology-enabled commercial plastic credit marketplace to drive accelerated scale and impact.
Before joining PCX, Sebastian worked at Gap Inc. as the EVP of Strategy & Chief Customer Officer, where he oversaw its e-commerce marketplace, credit card infrastructure, international franchise businesses, and strategy. Prior to Gap Inc., Sebastian was a Senior Partner & Managing Director at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he led large-scale technology, consumer, and retail client relationships.
As a lover of nature and the oceans, Sebastian’s desire to improve the quality of life for the next generation led to his transition to PCX. Sebastian brings his commitment to cleaning up plastic waste to his roles as an independent director on the Board of BigLots and through his contributions as a guest speaker at Stanford Business School, UCLA Anderson School of Management, and Wharton Business School.
Sebastian has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from The Wharton School.
Outside of work, Sebastian is an avid scuba diver, skier, runner, and biker. He enjoys spending his summers blowing bubbles in remote coral reefs, backcountry skiing on the weekends during the winter, and exploring the depths of the Tahoe Forest range with his wife, three sons, and their family dog.
