In her decade as a journalist, Nadira has covered everything from Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter to the ancient art market, written for such titles as Essence and Smithsonian, and appeared on the likes of HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher” and VH1’s “The Fabulous Life.” A would-be poet, sometime bartender, and professional sports fan, Nadira has a B.A. in English with a creative writing emphasis from Stanford University, where she edited the inimitable Stanford Daily.
