Head of C.Lab Americas, BNP Paribas

Matthieu Soulé is the Head of the Innovation Lab of BNP Paribas in San Francisco. Matthieu is passionate about climate tech and the intersection of financial services and climate change. He is the US Venture Partner for BNP Paribas’ climate tech fund called Solar Impulse Venture Fund. He was selected as one of the top 36 European climate tech leaders to follow according to the Financial Times Sifted in 2022.

Matthieu has spent over a decade working between the USA and Europe for BNP Paribas and advises global clients, who are leaders in mobility, energy, retail and food & ag sectors on their innovation strategy and low carbon transition journey.
He has a bi-weekly interview with the French TV BFM Business in Tech&Co to comment the hot news from the Silicon Valley.

He is also involved in the startup community as a community host in the Bay Area for My climate Journey (MCJ), mentor for a startup accelerator called Sustainable Ocean Alliance (SOA) based in San Francisco, and an advisor to GreenTech Alliance, a greentech startup association based in Europe.

Matthieu received a Master’s degree from Audencia Business School in Management with a major in Consulting & International Strategic Management.
