Marilynn Davis is a partner at K2S Advisors LLP, a UK‐registered advisor to organizations seeking to deploy “smart”, sustainable public infrastructure in cities.

Building upon positions in corporate treasury at General Motors and American Express, she became involved in the urban arena as Assistant Secretary of Administration at the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, appointed by President Clinton. After returning to senior finance roles in the private sector, including as EVP in Consumer Banking at FleetBoston Financial Corporation, Marilynn later reengaged with urban issues as CEO of Martha Schwartz Partners, an international design practice involved in large urban regeneration projects. More recently, she was a Managing Director at IMC Octave, a real estate development subsidiary of IMC Pan Asia Alliance, where she spearheaded development of signature lifestyle businesses and strategic partnerships for innovative real estate projects in China.

Marilynn has served on the boards of several non‐profit institutions, and is associated with others addressing urban issues. She has served on the Regional Planning Association of New York’s Advisory Committee on Community Planning and Development; on the board of the Skyscraper Museum in New York City; is a long‐time supporter of The Architectural League of New York City, is an advisor to the World Policy Institute’s “Emergent Cities Project: Motor City” and was a Fellow and Advisory Committee member of the David Rockefeller Fellows Program of the Partnership for New York City.

Marilynn graduated from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, and received her MBA from the Harvard Business School.
