Lynn O’Connor Vos is the chief executive officer of ghg | greyhealth group a WPP-owned global health communications firm. An industry veteran widely credited with helping transform the marketing of pharmaceuticals, she is the first woman to develop and run a global health communications enterprise.

Vos is known for combining trailblazing innovation with operational expertise to ensure that progressive ideas also become solidly performing business opportunities. She has extensive experience creating, building and acquiring companies to establish industry leadership and expand ghg’s global footprint.

A champion of using digital capabilities to improve the public health, Vos’ healthcare agency is pioneering prototypes to apply IBM Watson’s cognitive computing used by physicians to healthcare companies and their consumers. ghg launched the Metastatic Breast Cancer Advisor with IBM Watson, using Artificial Intelligence to allow patients, physicians, payers, and policy makers to interact with Watson to get information concerning 10 years of global research on metastatic breast cancer. Vos co-developed Text4baby, now the country’s top mobile health program and a recent exhibit at the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City. She drives the selection and evaluation of many investments in healthcare with WPP and continues to build out her company’s platform, with recent partnerships and investments in PARx Solutions and OptimizeRx to bring financial support to patients at the point-of-care.

Vos is a recognized thought leader in the industry, with numerous publications in both the lay and industry press. Currently, she is advising top clients to prepare consumers, especially the women she calls America’s new ‘Chief Health Officers,’ to be effective healthcare advocates. She is also preparing the industry for millennials, the new generation of healthcare change makers.

Vos has public and private board experience, including OptimizeRx (OTC: OPRX), nTelos, (NASDAQ: NTLS, before it was sold to Shentel), the Jed Foundation and PARx Solutions. She was a founding board member of The Jed Foundation, a leading mental health nonprofit, as well as the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF). In addition, Vos served as a board member of The Windward School, dedicated to children with dyslexia, and the YWCA of the City of New York. She has served on executive, development, strategy, nominating and search committees.

Vos is an advisory member of Armory Square Ventures, focused on early stage ventures and evaluating and advising health care start up investments. In addition, she is on the advisory boards of Precision Health Media, Coalition for Health Care Communications, and ScrollMotion. She is a member of the Kraft Precision Medicine Accelerator at Harvard Business School as well as Women Leading Healthcare (WBL).

Vos was named Woman of the Year by the Healthcare Business Women’s Association in 2005, was nominated by the YWCA to the Academy of Women Achievers in 1999, and received the Corporate Achievement Award from The Jed Foundation in 2006. In addition to the numerous awards she has won over the years, in 2016 she was named a PM360 Elite Transformational Leader and an MM&M Top 50 Health Influencer and in 2017 an MM&M Healthcare Transformer.
