Partner, McKinsey & Company

Lareina Yee is a Partner in McKinsey & Company’s San Francisco Office. Over her 14 years with McKinsey she has been a part of the Greater China and West Coast Offices. She is a leader of McKinsey’s Sales & Marketing Practice, specializing in commercial transformations. She works with leading technology companies on sales growth, digital strategy, big data analytics, and channel management.

Lareina also leads McKinsey’s external research on women. This includes McKinsey’s Women in the Workplace partnership with LeanIn.org that provides insights on company performance on gender diversity and the strategies to improve outcomes. Lareina also designed McKinsey Academy for Women – a digital training course for business managers to develop women leaders. Lareina is a frequent speaker on women including the Makers Conference, Fortune’s Most Powerful Women, and Women’s Forum for Economy & Society in France. She is also on the board of the International Center for Research on Women.

Lareina graduated from Barnard College and received her Masters from Columbia University where she was Javitz Fellow and a Henry Luce Scholar.
