Krishna Kumar is the CEO of Emerging Businesses at Philips – responsible for growth businesses in the Healthcare space from Oncology Diagnostics, Point of Care Diagnostics, Neuro & Cognitive Health to Photo Dermatology.
Krishna has held several leadership positions of businesses in markets across the world from Philips in India to several Johnson & Johnson businesses in the US, Japan and China, prior to his stint at Philips. He was a management consultant and investment banker in his prior life.
By education, he is an alumnus of Northwestern University, with an undergraduate and graduate degree from India, where he is from. Krishna is a US Patent Holder for innovations in the healthcare space. He is an avid technology enthusiast, who firmly believes that technology will change the way diseases are diagnosed and healthcare is delivered.
