Jonathan is CEO of Receptiviti, a SaaS software company that applies AI and decades of language psychology research to companies’ internal email and messaging systems to provide unprecedented real-time insight into workforce stress, fatigue, gender biases, and other predictive indicators of workforce risk and culture.
Jonathan founded Receptiviti in 2015 with Prof. James W. Pennebaker, a pioneer in the field of language psychology, with the objective of using technology to help organizations understand the mental and cultural health of their workforces and create environments where people – the lifeblood of companies – can truly thrive.
Over the past year Receptiviti has tripled in size and has added customers that include some of North America’s largest financial institutions, technology companies, and professional sports organizations.
Before starting Receptiviti, Jonathan had a 15-year career as a management consultant working with executive teams at Fortune-500 companies like SAP and Cisco, and he co-founded a technology company that provided case management software to professional services firms, universities and government agencies.
Jonathan holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. He lives in Toronto with his wife and three children.
