John Webb is currently the CEO and Managing Partner of Quantum Reach, a new venture capital and consulting hybrid which assists small and medium sized companies in achieving their growth strategies. He is also an executive consultant to private equity/venture capital firms that have an interest in the healthcare industry. In addition, he advises academic institutions to enhance their capabilities for tech transfer and true IP commercialization. And, is now assisting with various Michigan business initiatives. As a former senior executive in the Fortune 100, he has had oversight for many P&L units, ranging up to $5.0 billion in revenue. He has also had entrepreneurial responsibility for growth and the incubation of business endeavors in the $25-500M range. Past companies have included Aetna, UNUM and Rockwell Int’l (Space Shuttle Program). John is on the Boards of two start-ups and is a guest instructor for Pepperdine University’s Micro-Enterprise Program. He has a BSME from Michigan State University and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
