Jean-Marc Pailholย was appointed Headย of Group Market Management and Distribution of Allianzย Group inย Marchย 2016.
He began his career at theย Banqueย Populaire.ย After 3 years as Marketing Director, he joined theย Internal Auditย Department. A few years later he wasย promotedย Strategyย and Development Director for the South Westย region, before becoming in 2001, Retail Banking Group Director, responsible for the strategy and business development of the Private individual sector.
After 15 years withย theย Banqueย Populaire, Jean-Marcย joined theย Groupeย Laย Posteย in 2004 asย Commercial and Marketing Director for the financial services. In charge of the commercial part of the project, heย was one of the key drivers in the creationย ofย Laย Banqueย Postaleย in 2006ย and was promoted Directorย of the Postal Banking business. The Postal Bank became the first French Retail bank in 2008 with 13 million active clients when he decided to leave the Postal Group toย join Corporateย Values Associates in Paris as Partner. Jean-Marc led the FSI team for Europe and Africa.
From 2009 to 2015 Jean-Marc was a Member of the Board of Management of Allianz Franceย holding the position of Head of theย Distribution Unit and Head of Commercial Business.ย Amongst his responsibilities was the network management, the distribution and partnership strategy and the full commercial ecosystem for SMEs and Midcorp including the technical and underwriting area, prevention and claims management.
Heย has contributed to a number of conferences asย an expert inย banking and insurance strategy, network optimization, human resources, commercial policies, operational implementation and postal financial services.
Jean-Marc holds aย Master of Law and Political Science and is a graduate from the French Business School ESSEC. In 2017 he was decorated with the โLegion dโhonneurโ by the French Minister of Economy and Commerce.
