I’m an author, speaker, CEO, excellent chili maker, and lifelong advocate for women. Currently, I cofounded and am president of Take The Lead, a global nonprofit organization for which I developed a research-based, proven effective program of training, coaching, role models, and thought leadership to achieve intersectional gender parity in leadership across all sectors. Signature programs for individuals and companies include: 9 Leadership Power Tools courses for entrepreneurs or career track women, 50 Women Can Change the World cohorts in numerous sectors, and the annual Power Up Concert and Conference.
My most recent of five books is “Intentioning: Sex, Power, Pandemics, and How Women Will Take The Lead for (Everyone’s) Good, published by Worth Books. I made up the word “intentioning” to turn intention into an active verb because I believe a leader is anyone who gets stuff done.
