Drextel Amy

Drextel Amy has served as President of the Michigan Region of Liberty Bank and Trust since 2010, and is also Chairman of the bank’s Asset Liability Committee.  Liberty Bank and Trust is a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and has full-service banking operations in Michigan, Louisiana, Kansas City, Missouri and Mississippi, in addition to offices in Texas. Prior to his position at Liberty Bank and Trust, Drextel was the President of Michigan Banking for ShoreBank, a community bank.  Before joining ShoreBank, Drextel was the Executive Director of Consumer Banking for the over $2B asset Sterling Bank and Trust in Southfield, Michigan, where he managed consumer and mortgage banking, branches, credit cards, insurance and California banking operations. Currently, Drextel serves as Chairman of the Board for the Metropolitan Growth and Development Corporation and is a Finance Committee member for both the Detroit Development Fund and the Detroit Community Loan Fund.
