Dr. Chloe Carmichael is the author of Nervous Energy: Harness the Power of Your Anxiety (St. Martinโ€™s Essentials, 2021), endorsed by Deepak Chopra. She is currently under contract with Skyhorse Publishing for a book on the mental health benefits of free speech. Dr. Chloe presents onsite and virtual workshops, equipping individuals and organizations with evidence-based strategies to strengthen personal and professional development.

She attended Columbia University for a BA in Psychology and graduated summa cum laude with Departmental Honors in Psychology. She completed her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Long Island University. She completed clinical training at Lenox Hill Hospital, Kings County Hospital, and various community and university counseling centers. Her work on psychotherapy has been published through academic sources like Guilford, and she has presented at the Anxiety Disorders Association of America. She has taught at Long Island University and served as adjunct faculty at the City University of New York.

She is a consultant for and speaks regularly at Baker McKenzie, the third-largest law firm in the world. She has spoken at their NYC office, and online to their North American offices, including the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. She is a favorite at the 92nd Street Y, speaking at the 92Y Summit in 2019 and 2020. She has presented for the wealth management group Belfer Management LLC (founded by Laurence Belfer, chairman of 92Y), and has been a featured speaker for Columbia University’s global alumni network on multiple occasions.

Dr. Chloe is an Advisory Board Member for Womenโ€™s Health Magazine (Hearst) and Prevention.com, a featured expert for Psychology Today, and a WikiHow Brand Ambassador. She has appeared as an expert on VH1, Inside Edition, ABC Nightline, and other networks, and has been quoted in outlets like The New York Times, Forbes, Vanity Fair, and Rolling Stone.
