Doug is a partner and managing director of the Private Client Practice at Cambridge Associates. He works with a number of private clients and institutions ranging in size from $50 million to $4.5 billion. Doug has worked with nonprofit entities, including family foundations. He works extensively with taxable investing issues, including estate planning vehicles and concentrated stock positions.
Doug began his career at Cambridge Associates as an investment associate in 1995 and rejoined the firm in 2000 after attending business school. As an MBA candidate, Doug interned at the Corporate Finance Group of Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions.
Doug is a CFA Charterholder. He received his MBA from Dartmouth College and BA in History from Colby College.
Nicole Nava is a Senior Investment Director at Cambridge Associates.
Nicole works primarily with private families and their foundations on portfolio construction, asset allocation strategy, manager selections, and investment program evaluation. As a thought leader, Nicole helped to co-author the paper, Business Ownership at a Crosswords: Key Questions for Planning What’s Next.
Nicole previously worked as an Associate at Hall Capital Partners. In this role, Nicole structured, maintained, and analyzed over $2 billion of globally diversified investments assets for ultra high-net-worth individuals and endowments to optimize performance, tax efficiency, and client-specific objectives.
Nicole received her MBA from Dartmouth College and her BS from Cornell University.
