Don Baptiste, the co-founder and head of Bloomberg Government, is an expert on the intersection of business, media, government and innovation. Since the start of his career, Don has leveraged the challenges and opportunities that the Internet and Big Data have presented for both the public and private sectors. He now leads a business that empowers government affairs and government contracting professionals to make strategic business decisions through insights derived from proprietary analytical tools, data and content.
Prior to bringing BGOV to market, Don was a consultant at McKinsey & Company where his primary focuses were growth strategy for media clients and operations in the consumer packaged goods space. Before McKinsey, Don was on the leadership teams of two Washington, D.C. start-ups that brought transparency to policy issues and improved constituent communication with elected officials through online tools.
Don holds an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
