David Shrier is a venture builder, globally renowned advisor on technology disruption, and author of the new book Welcome to AI: A Human Guide to Artificial Intelligence (Harvard Business Publishing, 2024). His experience spans public and private companies as well as nonprofit and government advisory activities, having led $11 billion of institutional innovation. In addition to leading venture studio Visionary Future, David is a professor of practice (Artificial Intelligence and Innovation) with Imperial College London, where he is co-Director of the Trusted AI Alliance, and a Visiting Scholar with the GEAR Center at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His next book, Accelerating Climate Innovation will be published by MIT Press in 2025.
