Damien Rocchi is the CEO and co-founder of Grand Circus, a modern tech training academy based in downtown Detroit. Damien is a native Australian who is passionate about Detroit’s tech-led renaissance and the application of new approaches to education. Much of Damien’s experience involves building and growing new businesses, and he has led several teams within some of Australia’s largest consumer-focused companies. Prior to forming Grand Circus, Damien worked at Fairfax Business Media in Australia, where he managed a group of digital businesses dealing in research and data, professional education, and digital news. In a former life, Damien also worked at McKinsey & Company, where he guided business strategy in organizations across Australasia. Damien holds an MBA from Wharton Business School.
