Colleen Costello has developed well-rounded experience in healthcare research, engineering, biochemistry, and product development throughout her career. She has held positions as a researcher on master thesis projects at both Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City, on surgical device design and pre-clinical studies at Covidien Surgical Devices, and on tissue engineering design at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). Colleen has several patents pending and holds a degree in biomedical engineering with a minor in technological entrepreneurship from RPI. Colleen co-founded Vital Vio in 2012 while a senior at RPI with the focus of creating healthier, safer, and more protected public environments.
