Christina Pearson has extensive experience leading communications strategy on the most consequential technology and health care debates of the past few decades. As a partner at Penta, she uses this experience to set comprehensive strategies that help clients enhance their brands’ reputation and build relationships to attain their business and policy goals. Her recent work focuses on advising leading corporations and organizations in the retail, health care, manufacturing, and technology sectors.
For nearly a decade before joining Hamilton Place Strategies in 2019, Christina led a multi-faceted public affairs campaign which established Microsoft Corporation among the most effective and visible government affairs operations. During her tenure, she was a member of the U.S. government affairs senior leadership team and managed public affairs teams covering the EU, Canada, and U.S. that advocated on issues including data privacy and security, workforce, and education.
Christina previously served as the Senate-confirmed chief communications officer for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. As top spokesperson and senior strategist, she oversaw all activities related to media, marketing, and web operations within the department’s 11 agencies, including FDA, CMS, NIH, and CDC. She was instrumental in campaigns to enroll millions of seniors in the Medicare Part D prescription drug benefit, fight women’s heart disease, and improve international emergency preparedness.
Christina began her career as a spokesperson for the US Senate Finance Committee. She is a graduate of Hamilton College and lives with her family in the Washington, D.C., area.
