Author of the award-winning book, The Big Disconnect: Protecting Childhood and Family Relationships in the Digital Age , (Harper Collins, 2013) Dr. Steiner-Adair is an internationally recognized expert on the impact of technology on child development, family life and education. She speaks worldwide to numerous audiences, including educators, health professionals, PTA’s, think tanks, corporations, and nonprofit organizations.
She is a Research Associate in the Dept. of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School.
