Bambi DeLaRosa, Ph.D.

Bambi DeLaRosa serves as the Healthcare Artificial Intelligence Principal Investigator within Micron’s Advanced Computing Solutions group. She leads cross-functional teams that enable technological advancements in the evolving machine learning landscape. This work serves under the foundation of Micron’s commitment to providing expertise and high-value solutions by bringing machine learning into various industries. She holds a B.A. in Philosophy from University of California, Los Angeles, a M.S. in Applied Cognition, and a Ph.D. in Cognition and Neuroscience from the University of Texas at Dallas. She previously worked as a Special Advisor for the Office of the Secretary at the Department of Energy, leading department wide Artificial Intelligence Initiatives. As a research scientist, her work centered around the intersection of mathematics, neuroscience, and computational modeling to use high-dimensional electrophysiological data to develop information processing models of the brain. She also has years of clinical experience in developing these models for neuromodulatory brain stimulation techniques for various clinical ailments including major depressive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and traumatic brain injury. She is a proud Texan with a loving family including a husband and two kids who keep her on her toes.
