Nautilus provides Captains clearer, more actionable data about the navigational decisions they make over any trip. We save shipping companies money and help reduce the risk associated with a Captain’s job.
Anthony DiMare attended Syracuse University where he previously started Regattable and was the CEO and product lead. After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he moved to NYC in pursuit of another funding round. During that time Anthony worked at Persak & Wurmfeld naval architecture firm where he worked on commercial ship structural design. Missing the startup culture he went on his own again and became an early stage startup consultant a year later. He was hired as the first engineer at Bre & Co, Bre Pettis’ new venture after he sold Makerbot to Stratasys. Several months later he picked up a second client and was hired as the first engineer at Grow, Idan Cohen’s new venture after Boxee sold to Samsung. Over the past 8 months, Anthony used the work freedom of consulting to bootstrap his new business, Nautilus Labs.
