Alex is the Chief Product Officer of LOVELAND Technologies. Since joining LOVELAND in 2012 he has overseen design and development of products including Why Don’t We Own This?, LOVELAND’s national property mapping platform; the property survey app, Blexting; and Motor City Mapping, which presents data on property conditions across Detroit to the city and its residents.
As a writer, Alex explores the opportunities and problems presented by the unique property environment in Detroit. He also spends way too much time exploring Detroit via Google Streetview, virtually surveying property in the city since the financial crisis for his Tumblr, “GooBing Detroit.”
Before working with LOVELAND, Alex designed video games in Hanoi, Vietnam and Philadelphia, PA.
