Vice Chairman, Jefferies

Alec Ellison is a Vice Chairman of Jefferies and Chairman of the Technology Investment Banking group. Based in New York, he joined Jefferies in 2003 as part of the Firm’s acquisition of Broadview International, which he joined in 1988 and was named President of in 2001. With more than 25 years of experience in technology investment banking, Alec has completed over 200 M&A and financing transactions. He has particular expertise in enterprise software M&A transactions with a focus on vertical applications companies. Earlier in his career, he worked in the Technology Investment Banking Group at Morgan Stanley. Alec received an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a George F. Baker Scholar, and a BA, summa cum laude, from Yale University.
