We’re excited to have launched the first installment of our four-part series on Artificial Intelligence, hosted in partnership with Civic Hall. Each event will feature a dynamic panel discussion exploring AI’s expanding influence across industries and everyday life, followed by a reception to continue the conversation.
Dan Costa, Editorial Director of Techonomy, explored how artificial intelligence is reshaping the media industry—and why this disruption may be more existential than anything we’ve faced in the last 25 years. From the rise of search and social to the collapse of ad models and the pivot to paywalls, Dan compared the current AI wave to the technological shocks that came before it—and explained what media must do now to stay relevant, authoritative, and financially viable.
These discussions—spanning panels, town hall forums, and networking receptions—will build momentum leading up to our Techonomy 25 conference, held at the same venue.
