Born Egbert Nathaniel Dawkins III, Aloe Blacc understandably goes by a different moniker as a singer, songwriter, and rapper. He’s released several hit albums since his career hit the limelight, including Shine Through in 2006, the double platinum Good Things in 2010, and Lift Your Spirit in 2013. His entry into the Worthy 100 comes from his involvement with Aurora Humanitarian Initiative and Stand Together. This organization seeks to “address on-the-ground humanitarian challenges around the world with the focus on helping the most destitute.”
