Susie Piotrkowski is vice president of womenโs sports programming and espnW for ESPN. She is responsible for leading the companyโs womenโs sports strategy and driving the business and future vision of ESPNโs womenโs sports portfolio. She also leads espnWโs strategy aimed at serving and expanding female audiences while working closely with ESPNโs cross-departmental teams, including content, marketing, programming, sales and more.
Susie was promoted to her current role in June 2023, broadening her scope to lead ESPNโs womenโs sports strategy and working with partners across The Walt Disney Company on female audience expansion.
Piotrkowski first joined ESPN in September 2022 as vice president for espnW.
Prior to ESPN, she held a variety of roles, most recently serving as the Head of Womenโs Team Sports at Octagon. Led athlete, league and brand clients on identifying, securing and amplifying growth opportunities across the womenโs sports and entertainment landscapes. Before Octagon, she served as Vice President of Sponsorship Sales for the National Womenโs Soccer League (NWSL).
Throughout her career, Susie has prioritized the creation of industry-defining systemic change within womenโs sport, with a prioritization on equity, opportunity, infrastructure growth and further developing a platform for which womenโs sports are deserving. In 2022, she was named to Sports Business Journalโs Power Players in Womenโs Sports list and in 2024 she was named as one of Sports Business Journalโs โGame Changersโ for women making an impact in the sports industry.
Susie is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire where she majored in Political Science and earned a dual minor in Business and Sports Studies. While at UNH, she competed in Division 1 lacrosse. Susie resides in Boston, Mass., with her wife and two daughters.
