An estimated 45 million people over age 21 in the U.S. regularly use nicotine, and nearly 30 million of them smokeโthe most harmful way to consume nicotine. Stacey focuses on improving public health by pioneering science-backed nicotine alternatives that are better than continued smoking. This commitment has guided significant achievements under her leadership, including integrating Swedish Match and its FDA-authorized ZYN nicotine pouches into PMIโs portfolio of U.S. businesses. Under Staceyโs leadership, the teams are also bringing IQOS, an FDA authorized โheat-not-burnโ device that reduces exposure to harmful chemicals associated with traditional cigarettes, to the U.S.
Stacey has defined her career with PMI with a bold approach to orient the company around purposeโprioritizing product innovation, rigorous scientific research and transparent communication. Her strategic leadership fosters a culture of responsiveness and responsibility that includes robust community engagement and corporate accountability. Stacey’s extensive experience within various PMI global markets has shaped her visionary leadership style. Notably, she served as President of PMIโs South and Southeast Asia region and as Managing Director for Germany, Austria, Croatia, and Slovenia.
Stacey completed an Executive MBA from the International Institute for Management Development in Switzerland and a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in sociology and cultural anthropology from Randolph-Macon Womanโs College (now Randolph College) in Lynchburg, Virginia.
In late 2024, Stacey was honored by the Womenโs Business Development Council of Connecticut with their highest accolade, the Impact Award, for her dedication to community entrepreneurial development. Stacey is active on the board of AdvanceCT, a business-driven nonprofit that partners with companies to promote Connecticut as a desirable location to compete and grow. She is also a member of both the CNBC CEO Council and Fast Company Executive Board. Her previous board roles, including as president of the board of governors for AmCham Serbia (U.S. Chamber of Commerce) and as a member of the board of governors for AmCham Germany, further reflect her dedication to community service and engagement. In 2020, she was named Woman of the Year in the One Planet Awards, an initiative acknowledging business and professional excellence in industries around the world.
Stacey lives in Connecticut with her husband and teenage twins.
