Peter Petre was executive editor at Fortune, where he directed coverage of information technology, industrial technology, biotech, medicine, and science. After leaving Fortune, he was a founding partner of Techonomy. Mr. Petre also co-authors memoirs. He has collaborated on New York Times best-sellers with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Alan Greenspan, General H. Norman Schwarzkopf, and Thomas J. Watson, Jr. of IBM. He assisted on Robert S. McNamara’s In Retrospect: The Tragedy and Lessons of Vietnam and on Steven Rattner’s Overhaul: An Insider’s Account of the Emergency Rescue of the Auto Industry.
