With more than 25 years of critical care experience, Michele Teter is a foundational leader in Alliance Homecare’s clinical delivery. As Co-Founder and Director of Patient Services, she combines deep expertise in neurosurgical ICU care—honed at NewYork-Presbyterian—with a compassionate, patient-first approach.
Michele began her nursing career at Nyack Hospital, earned her BSN from Dominican College, and attained her CCRN certification in 2008. Her role at Alliance centers on designing and overseeing personalized care plans for patients with complex needs. She also serves as a Preceptor and Charge Nurse, mentoring the next generation of ICU clinicians.
Michele’s current focus is on clinical quality assurance and continuity of care in home settings. She is widely recognized for her expertise in neurocritical care, acute and chronic illness management, and patient-family collaboration.
