Originally incubated at Alphabet and launched as an independent company in 2022, SandboxAQ works with leading enterprises and government organizations across biopharma, cybersecurity, advanced materials, navigation, and financial services. The company is pioneering a new generation of AI that moves beyond language models to accelerate scientific discovery, optimize critical infrastructure, and power what Hidary describes as “Physical AI.”
A technology entrepreneur, physicist, and AI researcher, Hidary is the author of Quantum Computing: An Applied Approach (Springer) and AI or Die: A Practical Guide for Leaders. Before founding SandboxAQ, he led AI and quantum initiatives at Alphabet’s X, where he helped advance applications of AI for scientific discovery.
