Ian Walsh is chief marketing officer at TrackMaven, the competitive intelligence platform for digital marketers. In this role, Ian leads all aspects of marketing for the high-growth, venture-backed technology company. Prior to TrackMaven, Ian led marketing at CEB, where he brought to market “The Challenger Sale,” The Wall Street Journal best-selling business book that is transforming sales and marketing by illustrating the value of leading with insight in customer conversations. Ian’s background includes nearly 20 years of B2B Marketing, including leadership positions at Software AG, Approva (acquired by Infor), SAP, and MicroStrategy. Ian earned his bachelor’s of science degree in business administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
